Mamay Mountain is the perfect place for freeriding in Baikal region, not only for a long season (November-March). The Mamay slope is a particular favorite for skiers. Height drops reach 800 meters, trails stretch 3km, and in the winter months the snow is 5–7 meters deep, forest is rare or absent. If you like it, you have to come for freeride, downhill skiing or snowboarding. You have the opportunity to ride on snowmobiles, and then to warm in ice sauna and make a selfie on the mirror surface of Lake Baikal. How to get from Ulan-Ude: by train/car/bus to Vydrino – about 4 hours, then on foot or by snowmobiles go up – about 3-4 hours.
