The snow-white mortar of children’s well-being was built in 1998 and it is situated upon a different building that was located here until 1917. A cider post with Tibetan prayers and Tibetan woodcut books are bricked up in this 9-meter tall mortar. This is a pilgrimage for Buddhists who believe that any mortar with Buddha’s image grants well-being upon every living creature during this and future lives. Buddhists also believe that the mortars are so strong because both Earthlings and unearthly beings worship them. Whatever prayer or wish people have, they will be granted. You just need to walk around the mortar clockwise three times with a clear mind. Do you have your most cherished desires? Then come here!
